In the wake of President Trump's comments at a rally on Friday(9/22)that referenced Colin Kaepernick-though not by name-and saying that those who "disrespected the flag" should be run off the field and fired, RB LeSean McCoy dropped the hammer on the president on Twitter. Since I can't directly use the word, I'll let the link say it for me...

Re: Shady throws Shade at POTUS
Divisive antics like sitting during the National Anthem demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for our country, American CITIZENS, and those that died for our freedom.
If this continues, in a couple of years, NFL/NBA owners are going to be staring at the shattered remains of their franchises and wondering what the hell happened.
A solid majority of fans are sick of this political posturing. NOTE to owners. Stop this now or lose what you've built.Last edited by upstart; 09-23-2017, 02:07 PM.The NFL forgot the main component of any business model, the customer.

First of all, I'd argue that the NBA is the more progressive of the two leagues you mentioned. Neither one is going to die out "in a couple of years".
Second, you can't point to any LEGITIMATE source that says "a solid majority of fans are sick of this political posturing".John Hemingway(facing certain death): I want to see Buffalo win the Super Bowl.

Re: Shady throws Shade at POTUS
God, I've voted for a bunch of Democrats in the past...never again. I do not want to be associated with a bunch of childish, winy losers. Hillary lost, pull the tampon out already. My God, it is just like the kid in the grocery aisle whose Mom won't buy a Snickers."Miami played pretty damn good today and still got their ass kicked."
