He's right. McCoy was not joined arms in kneeling with his teammates trying to draw attention to social injustice. He was off on his own acting like a douchebag pulling a look at me stunt. I'm willing to bet even some of the protesters didn't appreciate that.

Anthem standing started in 2009? I was shocked to here that. I thought it was always in place. Too many hockey games attended and far too many parking lot beers over the years.

It was a protest just like others, the same as how part of the Bills knelt while others stood. Ignoring the anthem is as much a protest as refusing to stand or kneeling during it.

Who cares what Jim thinks? I am in full support of the protests. I hope they increase in magnitude to draw attention to a myriad of injustices. Although, unfortunately the idiot in the WH know exactly what his stupid tweets were going to accomplish. He is really playing with fire by exacerbating a racial divide. Very sad state of affairs and I am afraid it is only going to get worse.
