our D is ranked number 6 in the NFL in Yard per game (number 9 in passing and number 7 in rushing)
our O is ranked 26 in Yard per game. (number 29 passing, and number 12 in rushing)

However, 2 of the 3 D's we have faced so far this season rank number 1 (carolina) and number 4 (denver) .. partially because they faced us I'm sure
with the Jets at number 24

Too early to draw any conclusions of course, just stating what I'm seeing is all.

Still hoping for a tank, but doesn't look like we're trying to do that.

I have to say at this early point, I like the D which I though I'd hate, and I like Dennison's game plan for this past week which I didn't think he was capable of. I like the coaching, I like the organization, I like the apparent process and the draft picks. I like the kicker, I like the gatorade guys, they seem on top of beverage management and delivery.

I'm still not expecting much, but I think I'm seeing purposeful progress.

Joe B. had a nice tweet about Dennison's game plan for Tyrod last week.

No 3 step drops.

Took 20 snaps out of the shotgun.

Play action on 38% of the passes.

Essentially get Tyrod in his comfort zone, and stop defenses from coming down hill. Given the constant feedback of the WR's not getting much separation and some shakiness across the oline I give Rico some credit.

His game plan sucked and fsiled vs Carolina and he adjusted vs an equally as talented defense the next week.

at 2-1 I am not hoping for a tank. If we can make playoffs this year, why not?
