CB Greg Mabin promoted from practice squad.

WR Philly Brown released.

Philly Brown doesn't fit in Buffalo. He would have had a better chance with the Eagles or Cleveland.

I'm gonna guess this means no Gaines tomorrow.

No I believe the offfense will have some gains, I just hope the defense can limit the gaines, without Gaines. 😂

Maybe they liked what they saw from Brandon Reilly.

I hope Philly Brown put his car in short term parking, long term rates will kill you

If I'm the Cincy DC, I'm triple-covering Charles Clay until one of those scrubs proves they can make a play.

I gotta think the Bills go a bunch of 2 and 3 TE sets to matchup O'Leary, Clay, and maybe even Logan Thomas against LBs and Safeties. I also like Tyrod using play action and getting outside of the pocket a bunch in this game with multiple TE formations. It'll be tough for Cincy to try and spy him with a DB, which would leave a big matchup problem with Shady coming out of the backfield or 1-1 deep with Clay or a WR. I don't think any Cincy LB could spy Tyrod effectively.

And that's part of it. Even if the Bills fall behind, I think O'Leary does more in the passing game then Philly Brown. If Gaines can't play you need to make sure you have enough CBs to match up with the Bengals.

I could see the Bills running the ball 40 times

And so can the Bengals, expect 8 in the box.

Better compromise than Buffalo might be Pittsburgh.

That's ok. We have FBs & TEs.

Mabin played WR at Iowa before being concerted to a CB!

He might be back now with Clay hurt we could use to add a WR or TE (I wonder if we still have Gary Barnidge's number?).
