Looks like could be a wet game.

Who do you think that favors?

Us, since we need to pass the ball much less than them.

Wet conditions affect a QB less than windy conditions. Winds in Cincinnati tomorrow are predicted to be light and variable. IMO wet conditions generally benefit the offense because it affects footing. The offensive skill positi9on player always knows when and where he is going to make a cut, and can better prepare for it. The defensive player, in trying to react to the ball carrier (whether a WR, TE, or RB) may have to plant his foot harder and more suddenly to keep the offensive player from gaining separation. If the footing is dicey, that makes the defensive player more likely to slip. Different playing surfaces around the league play differently when you add dampness from rain. The skill and knowledge of the equipment manager in deciding what footwear to have players wear can have a major bearing on what takes place in the game.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

It favors the defense, so it’s a push.

I predict a couple of serious injuries that are going to effect both teams moving forward.

Weather tends to favor offenses, passing or running, doesn't matter.

Defenders need to react while the offense just does.

Tacklers slip trying to get better angles, corners slip when reacting to pass routes.

A wet football doesn't really seem to bother anyone anymore at the NFL level.
