Might get reinstated. Cheap upside option, possibly.

The guy hasn’t played meaningful football in quite some time, not to mention his baggage.

Easy pass.

Knowing what this coach and front office wants in their players, to put it politely; Not a chance.

He’s the opposite of what the Bills want, there’s no chance.

I'd call. And help him, not enable him.

If he truly wants to play football, he might be exactly what this coaching staff wants. The team is filled with hungry guys on their second or third chances.

He needs a mentor. Dareus?

I was reading the article below about Gordon, and the story about sitting on the tarmac watching the plane leave immediately triggered the Dareus preseason incident. Story is worth a read, if only to see the limits people will go to enable bad behavior as long as they benefit in some way.

addiction is very sad. I shouldn't joke about it. The relapse rate is very high. Wish Gordon well

Dude's a joke.

He'll never play in the NFL again.

He even admitted his 2014 rehab was nothing more than a publicity stunt.

I can't envision any reason why the NFL would reinstate him at this point.

He hasn't even applied for reinstatement and likely never will again.

Heard a recent interview with him and he seems to have his act together. He says he
still can go out and get the ball and beat CB's he seems sincere. What do we have to lose??
If I was in charge I'd give him a shot. Nothing to lose------

We could lose a draft pick as pretty sure the Browns still hold his rights.

It would take half the remaining season for him to get into game shape, if he was even motivated to do it.

and he's reinstated.

Conditional reinstatement.

If he sees the field I would be shocked.

Nice of the league to reinstate him the day after the trade deadline though so they couldn't try to move him for something, a conditional 7th for that matter.

I thought about that too. I wonder why they wanted the Browns to keep or cut and not trade.
