    Turn Tyrod loose

If he sees a lane to run while passing then take it..

Encourage the run, ask him why he didn't run?

Write RUN FIRST on his wrist band...let him call his own plays, been in the league for 6 years now

I want to see the real Tyrod Taylor not some phony starter QB with restrictions.
The worst that will happen is he will be injured.....maybe this will make you think twice before you draft another running QB.

One day he will be gone as another team is smart enough to realize his strengths, not build on his weaknesses

YOU LOOK LIKE **** TODAY, GET A HAIRCUT

Stacked box and no WR or TE threat means it won’t work.

Be careful what you wish for. If Tyrod gets hurt running, it's Peterman time. And if it's Peterman time, then our backup is, um, well, uhhh, "someone google 'NFL waiver wires NOW!'"

Yes, because it's extremely difficult to defend against a run first QB. That's why every team in the NFL is trying so hard to find one.

We should be hoping Tyrod learns how to properly play the position and maybe take a few more chances instead of checking the ball down 85% of the time. If we're not going to get to the playoffs with Tyrod, make a change. The general consensus seems to be 'we're not going anywhere with Tyrod, but we'd be stupid to bench him.' That logic doesn't make sense to me.

Well the logic isn't quite "we're not getting anywhere with Tyrod but we'd be stupid to bench him."
It's "we're not getting anywhere with Tyrod but we don't have a better option."

The only other QB on the roster is a 5th round rookie who has never played in a regular season NFL game. Our OL has been shaky, there is no support from the run game, our best TE is injured, our WR's are banged up and a pretty weak unit even when healthy. The D has exceeded expectations so there is national attention and pressure to win.

I can't imagine a much worse scenario for giving a rookie his first start.

If you're going to wait for an ideal situation for a rookie QB to start, he'll never play.

Well, we think we don't have a better option. It'd be nice to find out.

If we're not getting anywhere with Tyrod, then who cares what we do at QB? Why not try out an unknown entity and actually see how terrible everybody claims he is? Why do some people want to go nowhere with Tyrod instead of going nowhere with someone else?

You're a first place team right now with Tyrod at QB. That's far from not getting anywhere.

As a run dominant offense, teams have been stacking the box for 2 years. People cried that Clay was underutilized last year, so if true, the TE wasn't much of a factor. Add to the fact that Watkins, the deep threat, missed half the season...and it is similar to last year.

12th in scoring and 10th in scoring in those 2 years. no. 1 in rushing both years.

Use the bye week to re-implement last year's run game strategy...before its too late.

Let's wait until we're in 2nd place then, which will be after this weekend unless the Jets tie the Patriots.

This particular receiving core is far from what was there last season. If it was close to equal we would be running the ball better. There is no deep or even intermediate threat in the air. I would stack the box at let Zay Jones and Tate beat me all day. At least Woods was a threat. No QB is making this group better. Putting Peterman in is setting up failure.

I would wait til at the very least, Matthews comes back.
