Former track star. 4.23 40 speed. Some production this year with Bears.

I remember he had a great preseason prior to getting injured when he was with the Bills before. Worth a shot.

Can he play WR? The Bears WR corps is as bad as ours...

Sounds like a decent addition.

Decent add, he had some OK games last year.

Pretty sure he's better than K Clay, but I wouldn't hold my breath for any breakout.

Probably a healthy inactive and cut in a few weeks.

Not really, likely maybe close to 6'. Spend some time with Tyrod in Baltimore in the past I believe.

Hey, why not.

They must be willing to stash Reilly on the PS as long as possible, so they can avoid cutting him and trying to re-sign after being active for a couple of weeks.

Another KR to add to the wide receiver corps. Brilliant!

Seems marginal at best...

Looks like CHI was in some sort of situation in 2016 when he garnered 22 catches - 6 starts in 16 games. Active all year for ST work, I suppose.

Nice if he adds something, for sure.

Bills signed WR Deonte Thompson.
Advice: RB Joe Banyard was released in a corresponding roster move. Cut by the Bears last Wednesday, Thompson has 11 receptions in five games this season. He should see immediate snaps for the Bills' laughably-thin receiver corps.

Those would be Mossian numbers for a WR in this offense.

Just an aside, in that article, noticed they cut OL Jordan Mudge from PS. Forgot we had him. He wasn't great, but he was better than Ducasse. Can't say I'm impressed with their OL process.

As for Thompson, meh. Agree with Pink, they're accumulating return men at WR. Just add Reilly already and leave him on the roster. Plenty of other guys can be cut if they need a roster spot.

Apparently they signed CB Sammy Seamster to the practice squad, taking Mudge's spot.

Thompson used to be on our roster for those that think the name sounds familiar.

So did we just sign our number 1 WR going into week 7?

If you think about it, it kind of makes sense to have a WR on the team with speed... especially with a QB who is better at throwing vertically.

Weird.

Imagine if he was actually a stud!

He was asked to be converted to a CB after college. But his hands looked to be fine yesterday, even getting drilled hard after that long catch in the 4th.

Granted it is small sample size. Remember we drafted another receiver high who broke all kinds of receiving records in college, but suddenly have hands issue in NFL now...

One thing evident is that Taylor is comfortable with Deonte. His throws to Deonte did not require him to twist his body, to dive etc. In other words, he's exactly where Taylor expected him to be at the end of the throws.

Only Ravens and Eagles would consider him as a WR. For Bills sake, they should be thankful that Ravens did that and allowed him to play pitch and catch in practice.

Glad I was wrong on this one.

Didn't expect him to get much run, especially with Matthews back.

Added something we haven't had all year by getting down the field and making plays.
