All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The tone of this board is more negative than it was with Rex as the coach. It doesn't make much sense. We have a good team, playing entertaining football games.
And we seem to have a competent coach and GM.
And we're tied for the AFC East lead (lets go Falcons).

My only concern is the reliance on turnovers, we're getting way too many as crazy as it sounds. Think about it, we got 3 today, and that's with OJ Howard recovering his own fumble and Micah dropping an interception. It's nuts how many we're getting, it's not sustainable, but I'm not complaining. This is a great start, no one could have predicted this. It's almost November and we're still in this thing, pretty happy and it's fun to actually want to watch the team play.
The positives: before this season began I said 3-13 or 4-12 tops because the schedule looked brutal so being 4-2 (and two drives from being 6-0) makes me happy. I will take 4-2 and be happy about it. Now for the negative.
The negative:
In this damnable drought we have had promising starts before several times only to fade to oblivion. Right now, this team is doing what it needs to do to win. That's good. However, I will not get excited unless we are 7-5 or 8-4 after the next six weeks.
It's amazing what they've done so far with the lack of personnel talent this team has. No WRs. All new DBs. No name LBs. Poor o-line and an average at best QB.
Bills fans aren't used to an over-achieving team. We'll see how long it lasts. Defensive coordinators always look smarter as the season progresses because each year there is a new book on each offense.
