I just looked at the NFL standings. The combined record of AFC East teams is 16-10. If the season were to end today, New England would be the division champion, while Buffalo and Miami are the AFC wild card teams. The next best divisions, record wise, are the NFC North at 15-12 and the NFC South at 13-12. The NFC does not have a division with two wild card teams at this point.
