I hope McDermott talk some senses to him about it. That's not something for this team. Was not someone did the same and got the ball knocked out for a touch-back earlier this year on a field goal return?

The Raiders talked smack the whole game and Shady torched them for ~150 yards running, so he showed them what’s up.

He probably slowed down to try and take as much time off the clock as possible. Even if it was showboating, I couldn't care less. Shady knows how to play football, let him do what he wants in that situation.

This is such a great thing to complain about, though. Having the game locked up and showboating instead of losing our cool and getting a late hit penalty because of how frustrated we are because we're losing.

He'll probably get spoken to about it.

Nope. I was at the game and it was awesome. Get over it.

It looked like a genuine celebration to me.

I didn’t like it. Makes no sense to me slow down after you get in then celebrate all you want.

Bruce Irvin was talking yack all day. The guy is a sore loser. Looked good on him and the rest of that soft ass team.

I think we're nitpicking here, but I think McD will mention it to him.

Great F-n job is all Shady heard from his coach.

I don't care if he slowed down. There was no one near him and the game was already over. I'd rather he protect those hamstrings.

Don Beebe called. He said wait until the end zone to celebrate lol

I think he pretty much knew there wasn't a Raider within 15-20 yards of him.

Yupp. He was running right in front of the big screen. He could see who and how far the first guy was behind him. But. Peoples watching at home don't know that and overreact.

This was totally different on every level.

Shady hit the 2nd level and there wasnt anyone there.

This wasn't a defensive player on a return man going 70 yards where someone had time to get a full head of steam.

Our OLine ****ing mauled them and Shady put the game away and he knew it.

I'd like to see Shady do this every week.

Because the slow down was actually a conspiracy by the camera manufacturers with all the fans in attendance in on it

The game was over. And he also saw that no one was close enough to catch him.

The defenders were pretty far away and it burned a few seconds and saved him some juice in his legs. Bad thread.

I hope to see him trot into the endzone for a game icing TD every week.

I will also enjoy Shady smirking at the poor sportsmanship of our opponent punching the ball out of his hand 15 seconds later when he finally catches up.

McCoy is cool with me.

If the Raiders were talking smack all game I don't blame him. I don't want him to make a habit of it though. Guys may try and hurt him the next time they play against him.

It wasn't a Sammy Watkins slow down.......maybe the OP had a flashback or something.

McDermott went up to Shady, clapping real loud, and told him to respect the process of scoring a long TD.

It's good as long as it doesn't cost us a score or a game.

This is such a "townie" thing to complain about

McCoy respects every process unless/until it disrespects him. He's the last person on the team (next to Kyle Williams) who he has to worry about.
