His knee was out of whack, they missed it and now he’s hurt.

I was afraid of that...had RGIII flashbacks when he came back into the game.

You could see when he returned to the game that his knee was still bothering him.

Is it torn?

my advice to Jones - "don't wait, call 8" .... he's gonna to need a personal injury attorney after being sent back out on to the field

Shame. The kid looked like he finally turned the corner last night.

The only good news, of sorts, is they just signed Benjamin. Until last night, I wanted them to start KB and Thompson on the outside (KB is the size, DT is the speed) with Matthews in the slot, and I wanted Zay to be brought in in 4 WR's sets (because he was struggling, again, until last night). Now that looks like what they'll have to do.

Haven't seen any news good or bad about his knee. When it happened, I thought he tore his ACL with the way it looked. Then he walked off, with help, and came back in the game. I was shocked.

Any source on his status?

It looked like a.mild hyperextesion. He probably has a sprain that is worse than his initial symptoms indicated. If it is a tear, I’m sure it’s a relatively minor one which is a shorter, 100% recovery. But there is no news on this as of yet.

On the commentary, they said the first one was a hyper-extension, and said that it looked like the same thing had happened again - although I saw no replay that showed it. I don't doubt that the same thing happening twice, is not good, but it may be that it just means a slightly longer layoff. Let's hope that that's 'all' it was.

He should be good to go for the next game. Just a hyper-extension. I'm sure the adrenaline kept him going after it happened and it probably started to swell pretty good later in the evening. Nothing a little ice, ultrasound, and a few days off can't fix.

Let's hope. Need players back/healthy for the stretch run. Gotta go at least 5-3 the rest of the way.
