This happens from time to time. Denver beat Dallas, Seattle always has trouble vs LA, the jets almost beat NE. I was annoyed as **** watching the game, but it was a short week. I'm not going to put to much stock in it, if this was Sunday I'd be very worried, but this type of thing can happen. We also just added a WR, and now have a long time to prepare for the saints. That's a proven good team this year, if we look like today vs them, then worry. But there are a lot of factors that came into play today. We played a team we already played this year, a team that has a great DL, it was a short week, we traveled, and there was a lot of distraction with the Benjamin signing. I'm not putting to much stock into this game

I am not down. This is an 8-8 team. They will win some games we thought theyd lose and lose some games we thought they'd win. That is what average teams do.

Its fun to repeatedly start out 5-2 only to crumble to bad teams and finish .500 or sub .500.

I mean how can you really miss the playoffs 17 years in a row? Odds say that's almost impossible, yet our cursed team manages to find a way.

Give it another few games however even 5-11 (crappy tank) is impossible given our 3 remaining games against the Fish(2) and the tanking Colts.

I posted in another thread that I feared we would crumble after a good start., as we have done in other years. I should have known it would start on national TV. I am not giving up, but with a very tough remaining schedule, our playoff chances are a long shot now.
