Oh man this is tough. Lindell was very good, and Kid Rock helped people shovel their driveways.

The other guy can go pound sand

Both Carpenter and Lindell were steady but not clutch in the least. If Hauschka was in this poll he's the clear winner.

How sad is it that that's true after 8 games lol

True, but he was the prefigurement if Lindell and Carpenter. If you needed a field goal you had best look elsewhere

I do.

It was a cold weather game between the Bills and the Dolphins. The Dolphins' special teams were consistently doing a bit better than their Bills' counterparts. Their kickoffs would be 5 - 10 yards longer than ours, their kickoff return guys would get 5 - 10 yards more than ours. I was completely fine with that, because I knew we'd win the game anyway. (Which we did.) The Dolphins' edge on special teams wasn't enough to balance out the fact that the Bills' offense/defense was better than theirs.

Mike Hollis was the Bills' kicker that day. He didn't want his leg muscles to lose strength because of the cold. To prevent that, he bounced rhythmically from one foot to the other, always with the supporting leg directly underneath him. Overall, I don't remember Hollis as being particularly good or particularly bad.
