    Height be damned

Baker Mayfield torching TCU (top ranked defense).

Hope me some of you guys are watching this (draft boy?)

Also my boy Rodney Anderson doing work as well with 4 TD!?!?

I want both of these dudes to be Bills!

its on National Fox halftime right now

I still like Mayfield as the best QB prospect, and Anderson is GOOD.

IMO the kid from Auburn, Kerryon Johnson, is going to be a beast in the NFL too.

      Re: Height be damned

Mayfield is basically the prototype Manziel without the awesome nick name and way more heart.

His size and the spread are going to hurt him.

That said it only takes 1 team to fall in love with a guy.

I think he goes at the top half of the 2nd round or very late first.

Mayfield and Johnny Football are on opposite ends of the QB spectrum.

Yep. That’s a lazy comparison that a lot of people have made.

Unlike Manziel who left the pocket early and often Mayfield is always looking to throw, he is not run first he’s run last. He does move the pocket BUT he stays in the pocket until he has to exit to avoid a sack or he sees a clear opportunity for some easy yards.

He’s also well loved by his teammates, was Manziel?

Not arguing with you, but Mason Rudolph had slightly better stats against Iowa State.

            Mayfield: 18/27 for 333 - 3 TD/0 INT - rating 89.7%

            Rudolph: 25/31 for 376 - 3 TD/0 INT - rating 96.7%

Rudolph more the prototype build that will succeed in the NFL.

And I don't know where you're getting the TCU defense is the best in the nation. They are #14.

i agree that I prefer Rudolph, but i certainly wouldn't be angry if either were starting for the Bills next year

TCU had the 6th ranked defense in the nation going into yesterday's game.

Please let it be Buffalo. I'll gladly take that gamble.

I didn’t mean number one defense, I should have worded that better, I meant A top ranked defense. They were 6 before yesterday...they could hardly be scored on.

I like Rudolph a lot as well, would take either, I said in another thread I’d probably edge Rudolph over Mayfield due to size...but I was watching this game...pendulum

I’d roll the dice at this point on either of these guys in round 1.

I’ll be curious to see where Mayfield comes out height-wise at the combine. But having guys like Brees and Wilson having success will bode well for his first round potential.
