Browns starting safety Robert Griffith will miss most of the preseason with a broken right index finger suffered at the end of Friday morning's practice against the Bills.
Griffith said he cracked the finger when he hit it on a helmet or shoulder pad. He was on the sidelines in street clothes during yesterday's scrimmage against the Bills, wearing a soft cast that goes halfway up his forearm.
