After more than a decade of assigning a beat writer to cover the Saints, the Biloxi Sun Herald is reducing its coverage of the team this season.
Sun Herald sports editor Ross Reily said Sun Herald readers may not notice much of a difference. The paper will use The Associated Press for its daily coverage and will cover Saints home games, but will not send a writer to any away games, Reily said. The paper also will not have a reporter turning in daily coverage of training camp or in-season practices, he said.
