For a coach with a defensive background, the Jaguars' live scrimmage last night at Alltel Stadium got off to a good start.
New coach Jack Del Rio saw both his first- and second-team defenses hold the first-string offense without a first down in two series as they handcuffed quarterback Mark Brunell, who misfired on all five of his throws.
"Defensively, I'm pretty happy that we were able to go three and out against our offense because I think our offense is going to be pretty good," Del Rio said. "The flip side is I would have liked to have seen more production from the first group, especially from our quarterback, who has had such a good camp."
