Looks like our friend Brady might have some problems this year. Any thoughts?

Kinda like they did to the Fins last year to send them to yet another dissapointing offseason. You Fin fans crack me up, when Miami wins an important game in Dec., let me know!

Sounds good but all he does is throw short passes so if he is doing that well then not much has changed but with that injury it could be to our benifet if he get nailed good during preseason and who knows maybe spikes will put him out in game 1.

Thx for the heads up.

Hey ryven, yeah that sucked all right. But at least we were still in the running for the playoffs. You guys were well aware that your team was going to finish LAST again? How many years is that again that you guys have finished last? Man, a lot I bet.

Pats fan here.

How is it going guys?

About Brady, if he is hurt, and he might be, he wont say anythign and continue to play.

The reason is, is because we have Huard, and Rohan right behind him who could do what brady did and steal the starting gig.

Brady isn't the best long ball thrower, but more and more it is starting to show with guys like Brad Johnson and Gannon that you do not need to throw deep.

The thing now is do we have a recieving core that can get open and make plays when they recieve the ball?

Every preseason I hear how great the Dolphins are going to be, and every year I watch them fall apart in Dec. I can't even put into words what a wonderful feeling that is. Buffalo wasn't supposed to be a playoff team last year, and they finished about where they were expected to. But to have your team hyped in the preseason as a Super Bowl contender, only to blow it all again, year after year, thats just plain funny!

Ahh yes, the 3-13 season. That was hilarious watching your players getting their asses kicked all over the field by the FIns. Funny funny funny funny stuff!!!

Actually Bulldog, the first few post Marino seasons, we werent predicted to do **** and we made it in the playoffs.
However, I did hear a lof of hype when the Bills were 5-3. So many of you were talking SuperBowl only to have your wet dreams completely shattered and instead went 3-5 BWHHAAHAHAHA!

Speaking of funny games, remember Dan Marino's last playoff game. What was the final score of that one again? I lost interest once the Jags hit 60. Very funny indeed.

Or Jim Kelly's completely loaded teams that couldnt win a SB.

Or all of those years that the Bills have been finishing in last place. Oh wait...I just mean the last few years ROTFLMAO!!!

In all seriousness, when was the last time the Fins did anything in the playoffs? Marino never won a ring either, so what's your point? The best part is the fins won't do jack this year either with good old hairlip as the coach. I swear that guy spits more than he talks. Sounds like he has a mouth full of Buffalo sperm.

Why do you even let him get to you? He's never said anything that remotely resembles football knowledge. He comes in and talks about how we couldn't win the big one 10 years ago and talks smack about how we didn't beat them bad enough and how we missed the playoffs last season even though we were one game behind them and they were exactly where we were in January. Seriously, he sounds like a 13 year old (which he very well could be) and has zero knowledge of the game let alone a team that he doesn't follow. Don't reply, it's that simple. I get more irritated that people respond. I don't care if some kid gives you the old "you suck" weak smack. Big deal.

Brady never could throw long. He is the product of a system that utilizes his strengths and covers up his weaknesses. A poor man's Joe Montana.

I disagree with you on this, if teams start sitting on your short routes and you do nothing to get them to move, you will pay in the end, INT's, missed 1st downs, you can be shut out..I.E. Miami last year..that's why they are working on the long play a lot in TC, to get D's to be concerned with stretching the field. You can't be one dimensional and win..Tampa's D is why they went to the SB, and Oakland had Porter to open the field deep. If the Pats play a short field with questionable running game. You will pay against fast D"s.

I don't think that is necessarily a fair analysis. You have to take into account that he didn't have a long-ball threat at WR in 2001 or 2002. Also, the Pats didn't even attempt to throw deep much the last couple seasons, which likely means they didn't practice it much. Patten has the speed, but he struggled going deep last year. In fact, Patten dropped a couple of Brady's long throws. I am willing to bet Brady's numbers would have been a lot better throwing downfield if he had the right WR.

There is no doubt Brady needs to do a better job throwing deep. This year should be a better indicator. Though he still lacks a size WR for jump balls, the Pats do have a lot of speed at WR and TE. He should show improvement in that area.

To say Brady lacks arm strength is a misconception. He may not have a cannon, but he has a pretty good arm. He did win the long throw competition at the QB challenge.
