Roger Headrick was interested in buying an Arena Football League team. That was the word. Once the most powerful man in the Vikings' organization, Headrick has been out of football since Red McCombs ousted him in 1998. Did he really miss it so much he would stoop to running the indoor, pinball version of the game?
It could be quite a story.
If true.
"Absolutely 100 percent fiction," Headrick said. "Nobody talked to me about it or mentioned it. No one ever. Nor did I ever consider it."
Then he took a playful jab at the print media....
