All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

You've stated many, many, many times that Drew has issues. We are all aware of your views.
I ask you this, how would you fix it this year? Drew will be the starter this year. Gilbride will be the OC and QBC. We're stuck with them, like it or not.
What do you think needs to specifically be done to improve Drew's performance?
Originally posted by Throne Logic I want to know how he would fix what we've got. Not hear about how it's broken. Trying to be a little proactive here.
He will tell you to run T. Henry 350 times this year, limit Drew to about 400 pass attempts for the year and play good D.

wow...and without the 17,349 word dissertation.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
Originally posted by Throne Logic Limiting attempts won't solve the problems. It will just decrease the overall numbers of the stats equally.
What you're missing here, is that other D's won't be keying on your Passing game like they did last year, if a NFL D knows you're going to throw, they can be ready, DL put their ear back and go, DB's playing the lanes, but if Henry's killing them, now your play action sets up your passing, which should help Drew out, he should have wide open recievers, he doesn't have to force the issure. If your D is good, it takes a lot of pressure off your O, drew doesn't have to win games. He should flourish in this type of situation. My short sentences were alluding to this, now I see why Wys does the long thing.
Drew tossed 15 INTs last season in only 7 games, the toughest games, and added 3 lost fumbles in losses.
How do you "fix that?"
My solution was not to have brought him here to begin with. I'd have preferred Blake given this situation. I wasn't big on him either.
In short, our passing game was extremely inconsistent last season to say the least. Drew's games against very weak opponents for the most part carried his season. But again, this is a pattern that has followed Drew around for 10 seasons. So how do fix it?
It's a good question. But to me it's an issue when your best strategy is to do whatever is going to keep your "star" player from making the types of key errors that he made last year.
As well, the first step is recognition and getting past this denial stage. I'm guessing we'll make some serious strides towards that this year.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
What if, just what if, we find out this year that I haven't been blind for 10 seasons and what I've observed throughout Drew's career is accurate? Then what?
Suppose we finally realize that Drew can't be counted on in our toughest games? Obviously he wouldn't be of much use to us in any playoff scenarios then, right!
What then?
I think we may be hosed again unless we pick up some other FA next year or Brown works out. I have little faith in VP.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
