CB Ronde Barber (knee) and WR Keenan McCardell (hamstring) returned to practice Tuesday as the Buccaneers resumed training camp workouts at Disney's Wide World of Sports.

LB Derrick Brooks, who missed last week's trip to Japan due to a family emergency, was expected to return from his hometown of Pensacola and rejoin the club later Tuesday evening.

With Brooks back in the fold the Bucs will be at full strength following Saturday's 30-14 preseason victory over the New York Jets in the American Bowl....

LAKE BUENA VISTA - Cornerback Ronde Barber, who left practice early July 25 with a sore right knee and missed Saturday's preseason opener in Japan, returned to drills Tuesday and said his knee "feels 100 percent."

Barber did not practice in the afternoon session, but coach Jon Gruden said it was a precautionary move.

Barber played in the 2002 playoffs despite a ligament tear in his right knee and had arthroscopic surgery after the Super Bowl.

He said the soreness was probably a result of too much, too soon....
