CARSON, Calif. — For many of his teenage years, Marcellus Wiley would watch vacantly as the teacher's lips moved. Could there possibly be anything more boring? School began to seem a huge waste of time — but not in the way you might suppose.
"I was always a guy in class who until they put calculus on the board, I wouldn't pay much attention," the San Diego Chargers defensive end says.
