BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- Aaron Gibson was an afterthought when the Chicago Bears signed him off the waiver wire last season, a body for an offensive line desperately in need of someone.
"I wasn't in the best of shape," said Gibson, a former Lion.
When he signed Nov. 26, two days before Thanksgiving, he weighed 390 pounds. He was inactive the final five games of the 2002 season and remained an intriguing insurance policy.
