Starting right defensive end DeLawrence Grant strained his left knee early in Tuesday morning's practice.
Coach Bill Callahan said an MRI exam on the injury was negative, and Grant, who was limping noticeably as he left the practice field, is expected to miss eight to 10 days.
"It was a noncontact injury," Callahan said. "It looked as though he got leg-whipped by (Eric) Barton from the side, and that's how he got tripped up."...
