Plaxico Burress says he's bigger, stronger and faster than ever. Yet those aren't the most startling makeovers in the Steelers' game-breaking wide receiver.
He and his teammates contend the party doesn't begin and end at Plaxico's place like it used to, and while that might hurt business in a few clubs in the Strip, the business of football might have another great receiver.
"He doesn't go out as much as he used to," receiving partner Hines Ward said. "All he's thinking about is playing football, and that's good.
"I saw him evolve from a guy going out every night and trying to play on Sundays, to now he's actually thinking about the game. He's studying the game, what he needs to do to get better, studying his opponents and not really going out. He's still having his fun, but he's not out on the streets like he used to."
