    Pressure appealing to Plummer

HOUSTON - Jake Plummer is a seventh-year rookie. He has a new home, new teammates, a new playbook and a new lease on his career.

After six seasons in Arizona, Plummer signed a seven-year, $40 million free-agent contract with the Denver Broncos in March.

"It's been great already," Plummer said Wednesday after the team's first scrimmage against the Houston Texans. "It's very refreshing for me to come to a team with different expectations and more pressure to win. I'm excited to get the season going, and Denver is a great place to get started, whether you're at the start of your career or the middle of your career. ... Now, I've just got to do my part and make sure we go out and win."
