HOUSTON - In adhering to ground rules to not go full-speed after the opponent's quarterback Wednesday, Trevor Pryce wound up getting KO'ed himself.
The Denver Broncos' two-time Pro Bowl defensive end sprained the acromioclavicular (AC) joint in his right shoulder during the morning team drills.
Pryce, who missed the second half of the workout, said an unidentified Houston Texans tackle was the culprit.
"The dude jumped on my back," said Pryce, who was wearing an ice pack on the injury. "I tried to stop from running into their quarterback, and the dude just wanted to land on top of me."
