The Titans practiced a four-minute drill yesterday, and things heated up faster than minute rice.
A brawl between tackle Brad Hopkins and linebacker Frank Chamberlin threw the drill out of sync and got under Coach Jeff Fisher's skin.
When the coach voiced his displeasure, Fisher and Hopkins exchanged words. Hopkins later apologized to the coach.
''Everybody is out there working hard, everybody is trying to do things to get better. … Competition, sometimes the spirit of it can bring out the worst in people,'' Hopkins said. ''As far as Frank and Jeff and I, we are all working for the same goals.
''I have to have respect and show respect as a leader to people that are in this organization. There are certain aspects in the game that bring out the whatever in somebody.''
