Only way we'll beat the Broncos...

    Is if...

We run some more no huddle from last game. It would work great to create mis-matches and it would get their D confused.

If we can get a run in this game, no matter how we do it, we need a consistent run threat, I think we'll TRY to pass to set up the run, we'll see how it works.

Put pressure on Griese, but thats easier said then done against the Denver OL.

Just stop the Denver offense, period....I dont think there's much to explain there

Only way we beat the Broncos is if we score more points than them!

We can beat them if we keep scoring this many points and dont make mistakes. Griese will make a few mistakes- we gotta make him pay for it

Griese wont make mistakes if he has time, no QB should.

As long as the defensive scheme keeps working I see Griese on the run scrambling and flat on his back with Schobel's speed that should disrupt things a bit.

I hope you're right Herd! I've certainly seen a lot of pressure by the Bills lately, which I LOVE!

Our pass rush has been a lot better than I was expecting. 8 sacks through 2 games is pretty darn good IMO. I was not expecting 8 sacks until game 5 or 6 by the pressure they got in pre-season.

Maybe Schobel on one side and Newman on the other?
Mix up the pass rush have the two coming from all directions.

Schoebel had 1 good game, he'll be studied on film...

Are you saying Newman at DE?

No, still a line backer, he to has great speed off the corner. send him and Shobel at the same time at different times, just keep at the qb. Schobel should be able to hold his own. Now if they do focus on Aaron Schobel then the better for Newman and the defense rush. Somebody will be free.

I thought Schobel's play was pretty good in the Vikings game. As some fin fans have pointed out though he was not facing a top flight OT. I want to see him beat some good tackles now. And I want to see our defense pick up the run defense too. I know the Bills shut down the Jets run offense, but the Jets did what Buffalo did vs. the Vikings. They gave up on running the ball.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

It's going to be about ball control. In that high altitude, the Bills D can't afford to be on the field for 8 min. drives every few minutes. It's great the Bills can score alot of points fast, but that means the D will be out there a lot and they will tire. The Bills need a strong running game and eat the clock up like they did against the jets.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.
