Tight end Jim Kleinsasser will miss at least the first two games of the preseason with a right foot problem, it was announced today.
Kleinsasser saw a foot specialist in the Twin Cities Thursday and it was determined that he should rest for about 14 days. He'll be reevaluated at the end of two-week period. Vikings Coach Mike Tice said he doesn't expect the injuries to worsen and Kleinsasser's playing status should not be in question. Kleinsasser injured his foot a week ago in training camp in Mankato.
Also on Thursday, the team completed the last of the "long" days of training camp....
