What's up with that??

Its bad enough we don't get to see the preseason games on Sunday Ticket - you'd think at $200 a season we should... But now they take the internet game broadcasts away??? This is a friggin outrage - I've been looking forward to at least hearing the games all summer....

Anybody feel like taping it for me? PLEASE PM me and we can work out a trade!

Where did you see that it wasnt going to be on radio? And are you sure about that, even from the Baltimore stations?

TypicalBill

nope, no nfl.com anymore...you can only see live stats there beginning this year... not all the games have radio and the ones that do, you have to pay to listen... sucks! nfl.com is turning into nba.com with the radio pay thing

Thanks for the radio links Canadian Bill

Okay, this is the first site in that list, 610 AM. It looks like you can listen live on the top (the little RealOne Player picture) and it says they do live play by play for the bills. Hopefully, they mean the preseason too.

Thanks a lot CB11! I had checked that first batch of stations you posted this morning before I started this thread, but the 2nd batch looks promising.

Spaz - that figures - following the lead of MLB I guess. I guess $35 is semi reasonable for a person who can't get or can't afford Sunday Ticket - with the preseason games, thats what, about $1.75 per game? I guess its just a matter of time before we're paying for ALL our streaming media...

Well I gave you all the stations that SHOULD carry the bills game. You can go find thier site yourself and see if they have "listen live" link. This one does but I'm not 100% that they will have the game on since it is the preseason but they probably will. http://www.610cktb.com/news/sports.cfm

This station was listed on the Raven's site - it's the only one with webcasts of their content.

also remember- just because they have the capacity- if the NFL is charging for listening rights- they may make stations pull it off the net.

thats pretty weak they make you pay. NFL was like the last one to do it. Its all about the $$$$$$ though it was only time.

There are none - you either pay or you don't listen... One of you guys that live up there should plug a radio into your sound card and start a Shoutcast server - at least a dozen or so of us would be able to hear.

The days of free internet services are slowly but surely coming to an end I'm afraid...

I'm going to wait until later in the pre-season. I'm too busy right now to devote my time to the game, besides a friend of mine is taping it for me, he has Direct TV.
