TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Alabama defensive end Antwan Odom was briefly hospitalized Saturday after collapsing at practice.
"We took him off for precautionary tests," said coach Mike Shula. He refused to comment further on Odom's condition.
Odom was discharged from DCH Regional Medical Center later Saturday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
One of the nation's top pass rushers last season, Odom's team-leading 10 sacks were seventh in the nation.
"When you see something like that, your heart stops for a minute," linebacker Cornelius Wortham said. "But he was up talking and he seemed to be OK."
