FLAGSTAFF - Quarterback Josh McCown and the Cardinals would like to focus on the big picture, but it's hard when your eye keeps returning to the blemish in the middle of the painting.
McCown needs time to develop, to learn the nuances of the NFL, to get over the skittishness that's characterized his early appearances.
But the only thing wrong with the picture is that McCown is the Cardinals backup quarterback. If starter Jeff Blake goes down with a significant injury, can the Cardinals win with McCown under center?
