According to Empire Josh Reed and Nate Clements got in a scuffle today. According to empire the offense is sick of getting popped by their teammates

the ravens offense hated the defense during their superbowl run.

You took the words right out of my mouth Tatonka.

It's nice to see them clashing like that. It means someone is trying very hard to improve.

Get over it, O - hit back on the field.

The offense should be hitting back... If I were Reed, I'd lower a shoulder and let Clements have it. He's gotta be roughly the same size as Nate...

My money goes on Reed!

I'd take Winfield over Reed tho.

Good stuff!!

Reed is no puny guy he goes all out as well. Coy Wire already find out about Reed when he got knocked on his butt on a running play at camp!:)

A quote from a report on TSW:

Coy Wire- Decked someone. No, he wasn't supposed to.

In training camps for all sports, I've always liked to see some scuffles.

If they're not fighting, it means they're not caring. Come regular season, they're all teammates, and it sould be kept to a minimum (although, its 50+ guys for 4 months, something is bound to happen once or twice).

I mean, obviously you don't want 10 on 10 rumbles or anything like that ... but a scruff or two a week is good to see I think.

We're in here 24/7 and we never argue about anything...

"Can't they just get along" is right!

:D

Indeed, that energy will all be translated to the Fins..., ...er...a, ... I mean opponents soon!

As long as it's O vs. D it's ok.

Update I saw on Buffalo News!

A crowd of several hundred sat through the hottest day of camp so far and saw starters Josh Reed and Nate Clements get into a brief fight, with both tumbling to the ground after a rush around right tackle. It's not too common to see two starting skill players tussling.

"We've been having a thing with the receivers and DBs," Reed said. "The safeties when they run support have been coming down really hard and hitting our running backs and teeing off on us. We took it upon ourselves when we see them coming down to come back and crack on them, and they don't like that. They're supposed to be the hitters and when we defend ourselves, they don't like it. Nate got in a cheap one today, but it's all good."
