I don't understand this.....how is this fair for people who work and have no internet access at work? Will we have enough time to make our picks after we get home? Or before work? What is wrong with yahoo's live draft, anyway? :sadwalk:

there is a live BFZ league.. NBF is running that one.. some people prefer a thread draft and thats why we started this one.. you'll have time between picks.. as i stated in the PM i sent to everyone, the first couple of days, you'll have plenty of time to make picks but if it gets too slow, im gonna make the time limit tighter... you can prepare a list of like 10 to 15 players that you'd like to have and send'em to me in the morning before you leave to work, you can keep track of the draft and maybe draft when you're home.


we can do it like this... i'll pick for you in the morning according to your list and you pick for yourself the other time when you're home... you're list in the morning should take into consideration the players that were taken the day before..


i can do this for any owner, as long as i get a list of players.. Shelby gave me one and she knows she wont go wrong in the draft when she cant make it.

I know it was a little high to go for Henry. Thats why I hate being at the top of the Draft. I did not take Holmes because I don't trust his injury, no Ricky because I hate him, no Portis because I have him in 2 other leagues and if he goes down I don't wanna be screwed in 3 leagues.

Well atleast you know how it goes and you've seen it... i suggest you start calling sick for the next couple of days :D.. anyway, from now on, the picking is optional.. they dont have to pick which means the time limit extends to 10am tomorrow BUT if they do pick and you're turn comes, you might get another chance :D

it'll make the waiver wire much more interesting, lots of action during the season... you dont need a backup D and a backup K .. you can pickup one during the season and give up one of the scrub skilled-position backups .

on draft day, you draft a competitive team that has a chance, thats all you do..then injuries, waiver pickups and luck dictate where you end up :D


most of the late picks we're making will be replaced during the seasons, its exact science... atleast 2 will be replaced.. there are players that'll come out during the season and no one picked them initially in the draft...those things make the difference between a playoff team and a championship team.
