ATLANTA -- Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick fractured his right fibula and was taken off the field on a cart Saturday night during an exhibition game against Baltimore, ESPN has learned.

Vick was chased out of the pocket on a third-down play late in the first quarter and was tackled by Adalius Thomas. Vick fell awkwardly on his right leg, and grabbed it even before he fell all the way to the ground.

question is, what are they gonna do for the first month of the season with him out? Peerless's numbers won't be as high with a lesser QB in there.

What moron allowed him to wear high tops with long cleats on fake turf??? All their trainers should all be fired. You have to know that when thet foot gets planted, and the player gets hit, the energy has to expound at some point.

Its just simple physics.

Seems like every season someone proclaims the next running QB the Michael Jordon of football. Eventually they get hurt running around and they have to tone it down and become more of a pocket passer. I can't even name a single time it hasn't happened eventually. I was looking foward to seeing him play for at least a year that way, though.
