For deep ball yes.. AVP was a West Coast QB.... Montana didnt have a strong arm either....

it's tough...I can't stand Bledsoe even though he has an arm, and I can't see us winning games with AVP. TB seems to have a combo of both, and I wish they'd give him more of a chance...groom the boy, ya know?

A.V.P. and Brown both stink

AVP played well tonight.

5/8 for 81 yards is good. The INT wasn't his fault.

ha-ha, very funny, Phil. Perhaps wys really DOES know what he's talking about when it comes to Bumblesoe.

aka...drop back and drop back, hold on a minute guys, I might have somebody open, if only they weren't blocked, OMG, I'm running out of time, ok, maybe there's still a chance that he'll come across the field and get open for me, Oh no, there's 3, no 4, no 7 guys coming at me, don't sweat it, I can hold on to the ball a little longer, there's still a chance that I can throw a bomb, OMG, I can't believe it, there's a guy in the end zone and I think I can get it to him...oh wait, there's 3 man coverage, oh screw it, I can do it...NOT!!!!!!!!!!

BLEDSOE SUCKS!!!!!!! THAT'S a FACT! Numbers don't mean ANYTHING when you don't win games.

To be honest, I can't blame Drew tonight. It seemed like the only players who wanted to catch the ball tonight were Bobby Shaw and Clarence Coleman. Jennings was getting beaten all day long, and Drew constantly had a man in his face. A couple times though, when I thought Drew was going to get sacked, he actually got rid of the ball. Gilbride has no damn commitment to the run.

I have to wonder just who's calling the plays...Drew or Gilbride? Yeah, they're a perfect match! :snicker:

I don't think Drew looked bad tonight. I conversely don't think he looked good and he certainly didn't do much to indicate that things are gonna be different from last year.

In fact, here are his 3rd-down plays:

3rd-and-6 at the Titan 33, sacked for -5 to take us out of FG range. Result: punt.

The next drive, four throws BTW, inc., inc., 7 yard toss on 3rd-and-10, 4th-and-3 at the Titan 35, incomplete! Second drive over!

3rd-and-7 at our own 23, incomplete. 0-2 on the drive. Drive ended! Punt.

4.3 YPA...

I will say this, that between play-selection, I don't care who's calling them, and if we start Adams on the DL, we're gonna lose a bunch of games in the same fashion we did last year.

In two preseason games Drew has been completely ineffective. If he's not gonna give 100%, a potential excuse, then don't play hiim. Play Brown or VP w/ the first unit!

Brown had easily the best rating of the three QBs in this game.

At least one of his throws was a beatifully throwndrop by Crosby at ~ 6 min. of the 3rd.

He just launched a BEAUTIFULLY thrown 42-yarder to Rodney Wright, followed by yet another that Antonio Brown slowed up on and would have caught had he not slowed down. He should have continuted to run in stride instead of turning around. His turning drew a PI tho. So no harm, no foul.

But from what I'm seein' so far, he isn't playing poorly at all. In fact, I'd say he's playing pretty well!

Meanwhile, Bledsoe's had two back-to-back games in the 50s for QBR.

You guys are being too hard on Brown this week, at least so far...

Lets evaluate the run D when TKO is in there....Take Ray Lewis off the ravens and replace him with a bum and see how good the ravens d is.

I'm pretty sure that the bills haven't even tried the big plays during preseason and won't until the Pats game. The pass protection is a concern but if you guys noticed both Reed and Moulds were hardly a factor. You know somethings up when they don't use these two. I think our coaches don't want to be scouted.

TB, this much I will say, most rookies have been outperforming and looking a lot better than him. They've been outperforming Drew for that matter but where TB is concerned, I doubt if he'll ever be a starting qb and if he does he won't be an elite qb in this league.
