espn is reporting that DT Ted Washington had an MRI on a sprained left ankle Sept. 16, and will be out up to one month. we are playing them in 2 weeks, get well soon ted.

I actualy thought Ted was a good player. The first few games he was gone you could see a little difference there.

He was a GREAT player in Buffalo. I noticed a HUGE difference when he left.

Ted was a stud when he played for Buffalo. He was oftened double teamed and still clogged the holes so Cowart could make the tackle. I believe Cowart would not as been as successful if it wasn't for Big Ted

The season will be pretty well decided before he makes it back. I wonder who backs him up. One thing is for certain, Chicago's run defense just took two giant steps backwards.

Ted was great, but Pat is a better player. He played beside some real newbs, Ted had the luxury of playing beside Hanson, Bruce, and Wiley. Pat was also better than Ted in relief, and can rush the passer. He should be in the Pro Bowl, it should be his third Bowl.

...I hope he joins the Bears on the sidelines when he comes to town. There are a lot of Buffalo area restaurants whose year depends on Ted's appetite and I would hate to see another dozen go under.
