Why the :angry: is our star CB Nate Clements returning punts in a freaking PRE-SEASON GAME?!?!?! That is freaking insane! What if he got injured doing that? :madcurse:

If you're scared about getting hurt then you shouldn't be on the field at all.

He could've gotten injured just as easy while he was playing CB. I don't care to see him returning punts, but you have to let them play.

Yeah, but we have other players who can possibly return punts....and they might even be better.

No, returning punts is an especially dangerous job, those guys get smacked around pretty good, CB's dont get hit, they dish out the hits (you see that hit Clements had on that TE, ouch!)

I think GW is just throwing Clements a bone to keep him happy.
Also, I liked the way Terrence McGee looked returning, as long as he learns to take care of the football.

My only gripe is our o line looking like a bunch of rookies! I kept hearing "a vastly improved O-Line" from all the sports writers this off season. Then to see them perform like that! :puke:

I wondered this myself. You need to use the preseason to audition kick returners. Typical stupidity from Williams.
