Official BillsZone Training Camp Report 8/19/2003

Well, there is only 1 more day left of training camp and then the Buffalo Bills pack up to go back to Buffalo. Today was the team worked on some 1-on-1 drills, 7-on-7, 11-on-11 and some minor special teams work. The players practiced in pads and did some light tackling, but overall it was just a slow day.

The offense looked very crisp and precise most of the day, but also had some trouble against the defense. They worked on the deep passing game today and also the 2 minute drill. The receivers caught almost everything and whatever dropped balls there was, it was because of good defense. The running backs also did a good job at running the ball today.

Mike, thanks for all the reports and pics throughout training camp. It has really been nice and brought things "up close and personal" for people like myself so far away from it all. Thanks again, nice job.
