View Full Version : Does Fantasy Football distract you from the Bills?

Ever since I started playing Fantasy Football, I know more about the entire league as a whole, but I also find myself rooting for players who aren't Bills. I've even given myself solace after someone scores a TD against the Bills by telling myself "Hey, at least I got those points!" or "Well the Bills sucked today, but at least I won my fantasy game!" I've started to look forward to the start of football just as much as the start of the Bills' season.

As much as I love it, I think FF is starting to be a bad thing for me.

Nah, I root for the Bills first and in the case where I have players playing against us, I quietly root for us to win, but for those players to do well. Given the choice tho, I'll gladly take an 0-fer as opposed to a Bills loss.

No conflict. Most of your players rarely play the Bills anyway.

Unless we're losing by 20, I never want my FF players to score on the Bills

I don't like fantasy football that much. The point system is stupid, but it is fun to root for something I guess. But it just aint football, no lineman.

Fantasy football actually got me past just watching the Bills. I used to not care what any other team was doing unless it affected playoff scenarios until I started FF. Now I have a reason to pay attention to the rest of the league.

I'll take a Bills win over any fantasy point. I'm never ever happy about getting fantasy points at the expense of the Bills.

I do a football pool every week. Call me a crazy homer, but I take the Bills every week. Not necessarily because I think they win and cover every week, but because I don't want to deal with the conflict. And I am never happy if they lose and still cover.

NO.....................I never root for my players to score on the Bills. I don't even play them against the Bills unless they are my stud RB's or QB.

I refuse to take a dolphin pat or jet RB/Qb so it is rarely a conflict.

The only time Fantasy Football effects me is when my fantasy of the Bills going to and winning a SB doesn't happen. :p:

So Fairwaytogreen if Ricky Williams was sitting at the #3 or #4 pick and you had that pick, you'd take someone else??

Fairway took Travis Henry with the #2 pick. :snicker:
