Chad Pennington is expected to miss 12 weeks with a dislocated and fractured left wrist he suffered in Saturday night's preseason game against the Giants, Jets coach Herm Edwards said Sunday.

However, sources within the organization told ESPN.com that the injury might sideline the Jets' starting quarterback for the entire season.

that's horrible. Two of the youngest QB's w/ tons of national attention go out before the season starts.
My faith doesn’t make me perfect, it makes me forgiven.

Exactly the reason I like to wait as late in the preseason as possible to draft.

Vinnie just can't put up the type of numbers you need for a starting FF QB any more. I hope you had a good backup.

Well......Pennington WAS my backup. I have Garcia and Gannon for my starters.

At least he'll be a better bowler now. He's already got 7 pins. The good thing about Vinnie though for fins fans. He'll make Seau look fast again.

Oh Jeez, you're fine then. Pennington has been rising on the charts and I thought you might have grabbed him as your top guy. You're thinner at the position but you're fine as long as your starters aren't out for an extended period.

From a Bills standpoint, this is great news.

Stars get hurt every preseason. Owners would never give up the free money that they get from the required preseason game ticket purchase that every Season Ticket holder has to buy.

Plus....there was 63,000 people at the Ralph yesterday...only about 40,000 or so were season ticket holders...that is all extra money that Ralph brought in.
