Contrary to rumors, the Buffalo Bills are not interested in trading running back Olandis Gary.
President and General Manager Tom Donahoe said following Saturday's preseason game against the St. Louis Rams there is no truth to a national sports Web site story that said Gary could be on the trading block.

"No, it's not true," Donahoe said.

The Bills seem to be well stocked at the position behind starter Travis Henry. Sammy Morris and Joe Burns have pushed Gary throughout training camp. The team also has first-round pick Willis McGahee, though he may not play this year due to his serious knee surgery.

However, it doesn't appear the Bills would consider trading Gary unless they could get a midround draft choice in exchange. A Gary trade also would be risky given the possibility that Henry could get hurt.

The whole concept of signing a weak free agent and then trying to trade him for a third rounder when you might cut him anyways doesn't make any sense. Anyone could have signed him and gave nothing away.
No Gm is going to make that trade with TD. It makes no sense. The whole rumor makes no sense.

I would trade Gary and a late pick to some team for a healthy #2 TE or depth at S or a versatile veteran OL
