Carolina was excellent value there.

I couldn't believe I got Manning with the 38th selection. I was worried you were gonna take him. Then I knew wolpack wasn't gonna take him so I grabbed Holt, and stole Manning in the 4th.

I probably should have taken him there but I there was only Canidate and Zereoue available before I would have resorted to the dreaded Anthony Thomas gamble. I was afraid somebody might scoop those two guys before it got back to me and I didn't want to pick Thomas. As it turned out both backs ended up on my team because I couldn't leave either one sit there while I waited for the pick to get back to me. If you hadn't taken Manning I certainly would have next pick. If I had known Zereoue would have still been there I'd have taken Manning them him. But I didn't know that!

Now I have too many RB's. Nice problem to have, though. And I have two QB's that I can platoon for the better matchup. I'll have to trade a RB shortly, though.

So what's your team look like, Hal?

James Stewart in the 10th round was rediculous, though. I didn't even want to take him but just couldn't pass that up. A starting RB in the 10th round is unheard of.

I got Longwell on the LAST pick, too. Even for a kicker that was a surprise.

I like his starters better than mine overall but I have more depth. I'll do well in bye weeks and with injuries. Plus I can platoon my brains out for the better matchup. I just hope that's enough to give me the edge over a whole season.

I was surprized at some of the value players that were there late.

I was pissed though, I got knocked off the net for rounds 12 and 13. I knew there were some nice players left there.

Yeah, there were quite a few steals. I was hoping somebody took James Stewart ahead of me because I didn't want another RB but I couldn't just let him sit there. I wasn't going to take Hasslebeck either but he was way too high on my list to let him go. And I still can't believe I got Longwell in the last round!

So Bulger and Pinkston weren't your picks? That's pretty good. Bulger will be huge if Warner goes down (or struggles, which seems unlikely). And Pinkston could end up the Bird's top WR. He had some huge games last season if he can avoid as many duds he'll be a top 15 WR.
