Jets refused a trade with Jacksonville with Brunell according to ESPN, looking like both the Jags and the Browns are looking at a Flutie/Johnson controversy this year.

Not really...Holcomb and Couch get along...not like the Flutie/RJ thing we had.

We should move for Brunnell and ditch Drew.

I'm not a huge Brunnell fan, but he doesn't make anywhere near the errors that Drew does or the INTs. He's only a couple of years older and he has quite a bit more mobility.

To me, Brunell looks like The Brain from Pinky & the Brain fame.

Before I go to bed every night I thank the lord that Wys is not our GM. :D

Ya'll knew Wys would have to add that, it was just too good of a opening.

This is Prisco reporting but for conversation sake.

The Jaguars called the Jets, Ravens and Cowboys. The Dolphins were also a team the Jaguars planned to contact. But Brunell was not the only quarterback being offered, according to a source from one of those teams.

Garrard definitely. He was very good at ECU. Brady and Brackens if the money's right.

Brady, Smith, and Brunell would be of interest. Of course they would have to come with the right price tag or no deal. Brackens has to many injury problems.

Smith was a 1000 rec last year. He does have a 4 game suspension for illegal substance use and knowing Donahoe he'd rather get an injured player than one w/ off field personal problems.

I like the possibility of bringing David Garrard here. He's better than Travis Brown and has always intriqued me. He has also improved a lot in the offseason and preseason this year. :D

Garrard would be a good gamble for a team without a "Backup of the future" and with his steady progression, athletic ability, and more than adequate armstrength he may be worth the time and interest. I lived in Greenville NC and had a chance to see him a few times on and off the field he seems to have an extreme upside. ______________ ECU "We Believe" 88-92

It was no surprise. Wys would ditch Drew for his grandmother. :shakeno:

Garrad would be a great fit here, he ran an offense at ECU that made him pass the ball alot so he can put it up. He also has the speed to beat out the rushers closing the pocket, I would love for him to land here in Buffalo.

I third that. We'd be more than stocked at TE...but I'd imagine he'd be asking a bit much.

Every board seems to Garrad, but not for a trade, Mmmm. no team took the bait..I can't believe their offering all of them...
