How about Gash, Morris can back up at FB and HB, and we can start Crosby.

Travis goes on IR and they keep JJ
Substitute Aiken for CJ
and I bet they try to sneak Brown onto the practice squad.

charles johnson is worthless. We need to get rid of him and keep aiken.

I think we have 66 on the current roster, so we need to clear 13 spots to get to 53. My projected cuts: T. Brown (maybe IR)
Neufeld
Simonton
C. Johnson
Wright
Houghton
Stamer
Turner
Floyd
Irons
Sape
Aiken
Dorenbos

Both QB's get the ax. Gary Kubiak is in town and may get signed to be number 3. Heard it on Empire. Although I'm sure you guys already know.

And Venis. She's HOT!!!

Kubiak would be an upgrade over either of those two, but then again if they get down to the 3rd qb they are pretty much screwed anyhow.

Sorry guys, there is no way in HELL that this Johnson makes the team. NOT HAPPENING!

I doubt Aiken will clear waivers. My PS: Sape, Simonton, Dorenbos (if he clears), Wright, Houghton - providing the latter two are still eligible.

For all of you that say Dorenbos is cut/PS, who will long snap?

BTW, there is no way he would clear waivers.

Empire is full of crap!!!!!!
KubiaK has been out of FB for how many years coaching for Denver? He is always talked about as a canidate for a HC when jobs come open. No Way he is here to sign as a third string QB. No way! Empire is a bunch of idiots!

Patrick,

Are you sure empire said Gary Kubiak? He is in his 10th season out of the league and OC for Denver. If Empire thinks we are going to sign him as a third string QB they ought to be totally taken off the air.

I may have got the first name mixed up. But Kubiak just got cut from Indy. He played AFL ball.

Oh...........that makes more sense. I know Empire sucks but I thought they had really lost it!

BTW......it was nice meeting you last night!

As I post Buffalo has already made five cuts. Yes, Charles Johnson is gone! My eight additional cuts with comments are:

Travis Brown - He might go on IR if Buffalo really likes him, but Jason Johnson showed all kinds of poise one would not expect of a rookie free agent. Yeah I know there is talk about Jim Kubiak, but I'd go with Johnson based on the bird in the hand theory.

Ken Simonton - I rooted for him, but he just didn't show enough even though he didn't get a lot of opportunity. I think he might make the practice squad.

Rodney Wright - He's done some good things. Clarence Coleman has done more. How can you cut a return man as dangerous as A Brown. Remember Chad Morton with the Jets last year?

Sam Aiken - He's not ready for the NFL yet. He's a practice squad candidate. If I'm the Bills I'm not going to keep him on the active squad just because someone might sign him off my PS. He's just not worth a roster spot yet. Maybe he could come up with a phantom injury.

Lauvale Sape - He's got some quickness, but Edwards and Bannan give the Bills all the DT depth they need. Practice squad?

Grant Irons - I like him, and he has a great story, but the Bills appear to believe in Denney, and he's last on my depth chart.

Josh Stamer - He shows a lot of desire, but the Bills keep draft picks ahead of him. If eligible, he makes my practice squad.

John Dorenbos - He's not snapping for field goals. He has had accuracy problems snapping for punts. You reserve a roster spot for a LS who is close to perfect and snaps both for punts and field goals. John isn't worth it. Dave Moore can do the job on punts. Teague is already doing it on FGs isn't he? No, he does not make the PS.

If the Bills opt to carry only three RBs, Olandis Gary is in trouble. I don't think he has beaten out Morris or Burns.

I would cut:

Simonton
T. Brown
Aiken
Wright
Irons
Sape
Stamer
Stevenson
