Troy Hambrick for Tony Gonzales?

I have Hambrick. It sounds sweet, but I think Hambrick will be a sleeper - especially with Parcells as coach.

Gonzo is out first 2 weeks. Hambrick is in Parcells doghouse. I would make the deal if you have enough at RB

YES! Hambrick stinks and I heard Gonzo will start week 1. Injury wasn't that bad.

Make the trade.

Make the trade...the WSW trio has spoken.

Gonzo is out? Thanks for the catch!

I'm a little thin at RB. We can start 3. I have Priest Holmes and Charlie Garner (I'm set with those two), but would have to move Michael Pittman to replace Hambrick. I'm a little hesitant about that.

Decisions, decisions...

From sportsline.com

Dick Vermeil told the Chiefs' official website that early indications were that Tony Gonzalez's left knee injury would not threaten his season or career. His availability for the season opener is uncertain, but Vermeil is optimistic. "The trainers felt very good about how the knee responded overnight. So, we’re a lot more optimistic about him possibly being ready for San Diego (on Sept. 7) than we were," Vermeil said. "He strained his knee, but there was no swelling and it wasn't loose." Vermeil added Gonzalez has "tiny, tiny" tears in the knee. "The kind you don’t repair and you let heal on their own."
(Updated 08/27/2003).

It's a risk. :idunno:

I'm doing the trade. Thanks guys. He is throwing in Chambers too.

Who would your start (2) among Toomer, Stallworth, Patten and Chambers? I have to dump one WR. Would you take Chambers over Patten?

But still, I would probably make the deal :D

Looks like it's minor. I'd probably go for it. Can you start a WR in place of Hambrick?

Hambrick SUCKS and you're getting Gonzo and Chambers (Chambers also sucks but at least he's a nice throw in).

Yes. I feel that a lousy RB is better than an ok WR. But I can start 3 WRs and 2 RBs instead of the other way around.

Dump Patten, he may not even make the Pats roster

Hmmm. Maybe I'll wait and see. He is on my bench anyway.

I don't think he's that bad. He took a back seat to Emmit so he could break the record. He'll have a decent year. Without a quality QB, they'll probably look to run more close to the endzone.
