I still could envision a scenario where TD could be counting on no one picking up "damaged goods" ... waiting till tomorrow to stash Stammer or Sape (so they don't go thru waivers), then picking up Marcus. I'd be surprised if they give up on this investment so soon.

The true sign of saying goodbye to Marcus is if they come out in a press conference and say something before the Practice Squad opens up at 4:00pm tomorrow.

Call me crazy, but I still see the possibility of Jones in our future.

Why the heck would they need to schedule a press conference to release Marcus Jones? It's not like we were releasing Moulds or Bledsoe.

Unless he looks a lot better in the regular season, Marcus Jones wouldn't be an improvement.

I agree. Or else they are letting him work with the Bills conditioning staff for a few weeks and will bring him back by week 4 after he is 100%. :D

Only if they were announcing who was going on the practice squad - as long as they don't say Jones isn't in our future plans, they could bring him back when he's healthy - if we need him.
