Every team in the country entered the season with at least some significant question marks.
A few wasted no time answering them on opening weekend:
Florida State: With FSU coming off consecutive disappointing seasons, many wondered whether the Seminoles would ever regain their swagger. Should we ask North Carolina? It wasn't so much the 37-0 score but how FSU got there, with a nearly flawless performance from Chris Rix, punishing running by Greg Jones and Lorenzo Booker and a defense that held UNC's Darian Durant to 167 yards of total offense. Jones, who showed no ill effects from his knee injury, may have made the biggest statement when he slammed into All-ACC safety Dexter Reid so hard it knocked off his helmet.
